Equities – GPS uses smart routers to access all major markets, market makers, and ECNs to provide the best execution to its clients. Additionally, GPS has access to most major dark pools to find liquidity. GPS can provide quick best-price execution or passively work an order for a customer.
GPS can accept order flow from a variety of electronic providers and from most FIX compliant systems. All commission rates are reviewed and set commensurate to customer volume and trading style.
Orders received by GPS typically are “worked” due to their size and complexity. Trade execution is relayed to the client’s traders along with any pertinent information that is unique to the situation (i.e., there is a large working seller of your stock in the market.)
GPS has four suites of algorithms it can choose from and even mix and match to help customers meet their equity execution goals. GPS invests in the best technology for its trading systems and has all necessary infrastructures to conduct corporate buyback programs, VWAP trading, Market on Open or Close orders, and Implementation Shortfall strategies.
